Greetings Southwest DeKalb High School Community,

 

With great pleasure and excitement, I introduce myself as the new principal of Southwest DeKalb High School. As an educational leader, I am passionate about student success and fully committed to fostering a supportive learning environment. In this role, I will use my years of academic experience and leadership qualities to benefit our school community. 

 

Over the last 18 years, I have served in various roles, such as teacher, administrator, and school administrator. Throughout my career, I have shown strong dedication to academic excellence, character development, and community engagement in the DeKalb County Schools located in the eastern region.

 

As your new Principal, I am dedicated to upholding the rich traditions and values that define Southwest DeKalb High School. At the same time, I am open to and enthusiastic about adopting innovative educational approaches to ensure our students are well-prepared for success. My leadership style is characterized by collaboration, inclusivity, and a sincere commitment to each student's well-being and growth. 

 

I look forward to getting to know the Southwest DeKalb High School community even better, and I am confident that together, we will continue to thrive as a center of learning and excellence.
