Fathers Being Involved @ SWD

Father's Being Involved is designed to give fathers and father figures of Southwest Dekalb High School's students the opportunity to make a positive impact on our school and community by being present in our school.
Southwest DeKalb’s FBI organization was founded by former Southwest DeKalb’s PTSA president Gregory White in 2011. A group of volunteer dads that have become a fixture at Southwest DeKalb High School. Dads serve in the role of volunteering with school activities, chaperoning activities, picking up trash on school grounds, assisting with landscaping, mentoring students, reporting maintenance concerns, attending meetings, and most of all caring and creating a loving and nurturing environment for Southwest DeKalb students. The fathers have either attended Southwest DeKalb High School or have children that are students at SWD. FBI would like for all SWD father's to be a members and contribute time, to make Southwest DeKalb a great place for our students to learn inside and outside of the classroom. For information on joining or supporting the SWD FBI, call Gregory White at (404) 702-4117 or email at
